let me know if something doesn't work as i only tested this briefly. works on existing saves.
i won't be doing this for the no scrolls version of no spell prep as this was just a quick personal thing i wanted to share.
you don't need either mod to make this work, only this one. however please download them and endorse them!
for anyone looking to make compatibility for the other version of no spell prep, or for anything, here's quick guide.
- you want to grab https://github.com/Norbyte/lslib and https://github.com/ShinyHobo/BG3-Modders-Multitool
- use lslib to unpack the mods .pak files
- in the public folder you just unpacked you'll find what you're looking for
- use notepad++ to edit the .lsx file
- you want to find the differences between the two conflicting .lsx files and merge them together manually by copy pasting
- when you're done save it, if you plan on sharing this you wanna change the folder names to whatever you want to name your mod
- then you wanna edit the meta.lsx in the mods folder
- change the mod name, nexus username, and version number
- then open modders multitool and generate a new uuid, copy paste that uuid into the meta
- save it, and then you're ready to use lslib to package it up
- import it into bg3mm and if you did everything right it should exist as its own mod without overwriting the one you were editing
- test it out in game!
