ASCENDED ASTARION ROMANCE EDITS
A mod that introduces a third path for Ascended Astarion’s romance, giving players the freedom to choose their own future together. Remain mortal and continue your relationship with him without being forced to become his vampire spawn or end the romance.
ABOUT THIS MOD
This mod introduces a third path for Ascended Astarion's romance, giving players more freedom to decide how their relationship unfolds after his ascension. Rather than being limited to becoming his vampire spawn or ending the relationship, players can now choose to remain mortal while continuing their romance with him.
This is accomplished by repurposing a lesser-known dialogue option from the epilogue romance scene following the defeat of the Netherbrain. In the vanilla game, this dialogue is only accessible to players romancing Ascended Astarion who did not take a long rest after his ascension. We've taken this existing dialogue and incorporated it into the post-ascension long rest scene.
In addition to this new romance path, the mod introduces several new dialogue options for the player character when responding to Astarion after his ascension, offering more flexibility in how your character expresses their feelings, desires, and boundaries.
Players can also choose to continue into the intimacy scene, including the iconic "On your knees, darling" moment, without committing to becoming Astarion's spawn.
We also added additional kisses, giving players more variety in their romantic interactions with Ascended Astarion.
This mod is about player choice and roleplaying freedom. Every player has their own interpretation of their character, their relationship with Astarion, and what their future together might look like. Whether this choice better suits your character's personality, their boundaries, or your personal headcanons, the goal is to give you a little more freedom to tell the story you want to tell.

HOW TO USE

Install the mod using your preferred method. I recommend BG3MM.

Add the mod into your load order.

This mod will not work while in the same load order as similar mods that overwrite the same scenes.
