**Daisy Appearance Morph v 1.1.1
Change your Dream Guardian's face and clothes in an existing save using hotbar or MCM controls, with an optional in-camp preview.
Do you ever wish you could swap out your Daisy (the Dream Guardian) in the middle of a save? Daisy normally keeps the look you picked at character creation. But with this mod you can restyle her in the Magic Mirror at any time, and change her clothes too. The mod uses a command to create a hireling clone of Daisy and put the hireling in the Magic Mirror - you set Daisy's appearance there. Then the appearance is copied to Daisy automatically. You can also copy your Tav's clothing to Daisy at any time. You can even teleport her to you in camp for a look without starting a dream. (But she cannot join the party or interact at camp.) **
**
FAQ Notes:
**
- **Daisy will appear nude if you make your character nude and give the Daisy Outfit command. **
- ** This mod will not affect the appearance of the Emperor at any time that the game wants you to see his Illithid form.**

Release v1.1.1 — crash and hotbar-tooltip fixes.
What's new in v1.1
**
- Daisy is hidden before Copy Outfit / Default Clothing, and when a rest starts, so those operations no longer crash the game.
- The mod no longer hides Daisy after a Dream Guardian dialog has already started (that caused a crash with the Emperor on screen). The Emperor's Illithid form is unchanged.
- See Daisy does nothing while an outfit copy is still applying.
- Hotbar shout names and tooltips work again (cooked localization). MCM was already fine.
**
How to use — please read
DAISY'S APPEARANCE: CAST Daisy's Mirror. USE A WITHERS HIRELING THAT MATCHES DAISY'S SIZE AND BODY TYPE. SCULPT THE HIRELING IN THE MAGIC MIRROR, THEN CONFIRM — THE LOOK IS COPIED ONTO DAISY. CANCEL LEAVES DAISY UNCHANGED.
**
- Clothes: wear the outfit on yourself (armor and/or camp clothes), then cast Daisy's Outfit. Empty slots on you clear those slots on Daisy. Your inventory is not taken — the mod clones templates onto her.
- Default clothes: cast Daisy's Default Clothing to put her back in her default plate, gloves, boots, and camp clothes (no cloak).
- Camp preview: See Daisy teleports her to you in camp; Hide Daisy stages her off. These do not start a dream. Hotbar icons for See/Hide are off by default — turn them on in MCM if you want them.
- MCM: hotbar icon checkboxes for each shout, Action buttons, and keyboard binds. Bind keys on MCM's Hotkeys page (not a Daisy tab — that is how MCM works).
- If no matching hireling is in the party, the mirror shout opens Withers' hire UI and advises which card to pick. For Tiefling female or Githyanki male Daisy, the mod adds DAM Tiefling (F) and DAM Githyanki (M) cards when vanilla has no match.
Best place to check the face: cast See Daisy in camp.
**Features
**
- Daisy's Mirror — face-only Magic Mirror via a real Withers hireling dummy (never opens the editor on Daisy herself).
- Daisy's Outfit — copies the clothes you are wearing onto Daisy; empty slots unequip her matching slots.
- Daisy's Default Clothing — restores her default plate / gloves / boots / camp clothes.
- See Daisy / Hide Daisy — optional camp preview shouts (hotbar off by default).
- Extra hireling cards for Tiefling female and Githyanki male when vanilla Withers has no matching body.
- MCM (optional) — hotbar icon toggles, Action buttons, and hotkeys on MCM's Hotkeys page.
- Console (Script Extender): !daisy_show, !daisy_hide, !daisy_clothes, !daisy_equip (after typing server).
** ****Requirements
**
- Baldur's Gate 3, Patch 8 or later.
- BG3 Script Extender (version 23+). Required — the mod is Script Extender Lua.
- A mod manager (e.g. BG3 Mod Manager) — strongly recommended; Daisy Appearance Morph must be active in your load order for its script to run.
**
Recommended (not required):
**
- Mod Configuration Menu (BG3MCM) — for hotbar toggles, Action buttons, and hotkeys. Without MCM, Mirror / Outfit / Default Clothing shouts are still granted by default.
- Show me my Dream Guardian (Nexus mod 12649) — needed if you want custom Daisy looks to stick in the Act 3 Emperor fight. This pak does not ship that fix.
**Compatibility
**
- Works on an existing save where Daisy already exists.
- Appearance Edit Enhanced and mid-game Magic Mirror use — the Daisy path uses a hireling dummy, not Unique Tav / KAVT. Do not use Unique Tav to restyle Daisy.
- Load order: Script Extender → (optional) MCM → Show me my Dream Guardian (12649) → Daisy Appearance Morph.
- Does not replace base-game UI XAML. No known conflict with CCNS / CCHHS.
**Known limitations
**
- You need a hireling whose size family and body type match Daisy. Here is a list of all the UNSUPPORTED races and BTs (due to base game limitations):
- Half-Orc female (BT 1)
- Gnome female (BT 1)
- Halfling male (BT 0)
- Dwarf male (BT 0)
- **All Dragonborn **
- The Magic Mirror opens on the hireling, not on Daisy. You must Confirm (or Cancel) on that hireling.
- See Daisy / Hide Daisy are for camp preview. They do not start a story dream and do not load the Artifact dream map.
- Outfit and default-clothes changes are applied at runtime onto Daisy. Treat a visual check in camp / dream as your confirmation.
- The Act 3 Emperor is a different entity — use Show me my Dream Guardian (12649) for that fight.
- Daisy Appearance Morph must be active in your load order (not merely present in the Mods folder) for Script Extender features to run.

v1.1.1 (2026-09-27)
Stability, localization, footwear, and MCM wording fixes after in-game testing on an existing save.
- Copy Outfit / Default Clothing: Daisy is staged off before unequip, clone, or armour-set changes, so those operations no longer crash the game while she is shown.
- Rest / dream: Daisy is hidden when a long rest starts (before the camp-to-dream scene swap). She is NOT hidden again after the Dream Guardian dialog has already started — that second hide crashed the game with the Emperor already on screen.
- Emperor: the mod does not replace the Emperor's Illithid form.
- See Daisy: ignored while an outfit copy is still applying (prevents restaging her mid-equip).
- Hotbar / hireling names: this release ships cooked localization (binary DaisyAppearanceMorph.loca only). Packs that shipped XML-only localization showed blank or "Not Found" labels on hotbar icons and DAM hireling cards. MCM Action buttons were always fine.
- Footwear (camp / Act 2 vanity scenes): Default Clothing also fills VanityBoots with Dreamsome Boots. Copy Outfit prefers the host's VanityBoots; if that slot is empty, it mirrors Boots into VanityBoots (real boot mesh — transmog look is not copied).
- MCM See Daisy: description now says Daisy is teleported to the player character (not "to camp").
v1.0 (2026-09-01)
Initial public release: Magic Mirror via hireling dummy, Outfit / Default Clothing shouts, optional See/Hide camp preview, extra hireling cards for Tiefling female and Githyanki male, MCM hotbar toggles and hotkeys.**
